My name is Lisa Kara.  I’m a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, board certified holistic nutritionist (in standing), member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals and certified yoga instructor.

 

I created Zinc Nutrition to help you find health.  I’m here to provide a resource for trust worthy nutrition advise based on science.  No fads, just facts.  Nutrition is confusing because there is no one size fits all diet.  Every human body is unique.  As a professionally trained nutritional therapist, I can identify what type of diet is right for you.

 

Why the name ZINC?

I named my practice Zinc Nutrition because zinc is a mineral found in food that directly supports the immune system. The body must have adequate zinc to stay healthy.  Zinc is one of the most important nutrients in the human body, yet most people are deficient.  Nutritional therapy uses the power of nutrients like zinc to manage weight and prevent or reduce illness the natural way.  You see, most illnesses are caused by a nutritional deficiency or imbalance.  A simple change in your diet and lifestyle could be the answer you’ve been looking for.

Why should you trust me?

I not only have clinical experience as a nutritional therapist, I was in your shoes 10 years ago. My body started to break down after years of consuming the wrong food and drink.  You name it I had it.  Weight gain, skin issues galore, painful bloating, chronic constipation, irregular periods, hormone imbalance, and the worst part… severe anxiety and depression.  I was in and out of doctors, spent thousands of dollars, and finally I cured myself through diet.  More about my journey click here
